Terms of Service

Last updated: 7th Nov, 2026

These terms govern your use of Deuuce, a website and app for organising and paying for badminton games in Kharadi, Pune, operated by Shubham Kumar, trading as Deuuce (“Deuuce,” “we,” “us”), a sole proprietorship based in Pune, Maharashtra, India.

By creating an account or using Deuuce, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app.

1. What Deuuce is

Deuuce is a platform that helps players find each other, organise games, and, where a venue supports it, pay to book a court directly through the app. Deuuce is not a badminton venue. The courts, equipment and facilities are provided by independent venues; Deuuce’s role is coordination and payment, not the physical game itself.

2. Who can use Deuuce

You must be at least 18 years old, or using the app with a parent or guardian’s permission, to create an account. You’re responsible for keeping your sign-in secure and for anything that happens under your account.

3. Accounts and sign-in

You sign in with a Google account or a one-time code sent to your email. You’re responsible for the accuracy of the information on your profile.

4. Hosting and joining games

Anyone can host a game or ask to join one. A host decides who plays in their game. Being in a game, on a waiting list, or in a game’s chat doesn’t create any obligation on Deuuce’s part beyond what’s described in these terms and the Refund Policy.

5. Booking and payment

Where a venue accepts payment through Deuuce, only the game’s host pays, in full, upfront. Deuuce does not split costs between players inside the app. Payment is processed by Razorpay; Deuuce never stores your card or bank details. A booking is only confirmed once Razorpay confirms your payment, never before. The host pays the court fee set by the venue plus the payment gateway’s processing charge, shown before you pay. See our Refund Policy for cancellations.

6. Conduct

You agree to give accurate information about your own attendance and play, and not to abuse, harass, or knowingly mislead other players. Deuuce may restrict or ban an account that violates these terms, including blocking it from creating games, joining games, or posting in chat.

7. Venue and gameplay risk

Deuuce does not own, operate, or inspect any venue. We are not responsible for the condition of a court, injuries during play, or disputes between players or between a player and a venue. Play badminton at your own risk, and raise any venue-specific issue directly with that venue.

8. Ratings

Players who’ve played together may rate each other. Ratings are anonymous. You won’t be told who rated you or what they said about you individually, only the aggregate.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Deuuce’s liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the app is limited to the amount you paid through Deuuce in the 3 months before the claim.

10. Changes

We may update these terms as the product changes. We’ll post the updated date below; continuing to use Deuuce after a change means you accept the new terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Pune, Maharashtra.
